Marines with 1st Marine Aircraft Wing and 3rd Marine Division completed a four-day Tactical Combat Casualty Care course using the Tactical Medical Simulation Center, a III Marine Expeditionary Force asset, on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, March 8, 2018. The course is designed to hone service-members’ critical thinking, tactical combat care skills and meet the diverse medical requirements needed while operating within the Pacific region. With a motto of “Eliminating preventable deaths on the battlefield,” the center provides the latest evidence-based combat medicine practices to as many Marines and Sailors as possible.
