This multimedia product showcases 6th Marine Corps District, Recruiting Station Jacksonville's Officer Selection Team, and Florida State Seminoles women's soccer team at Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida, March 31, 2022. The 6MCD staff held leadership discussions with FSU staff and athletes, and led them in events like The Battle Position, the Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Trainer, and the Marine Corps Flight Orientation Program. Marines with; Recruiting Station Raleigh, 4th Marine Corps District, Marine Corps Recruiting Command; 2nd Maintenance Battalion, Combat Logistic Regiment 25, Camp Lejeune; and with Marine Attack Squadron 223, Marine Aircraft Group 14, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, demonstrated the Marine Combat Fitness test to students at Fayetteville State University, North Carolina, during a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) retreat, August 14, 2017. The students were physically challenged and then changed mentally with various ethical decision-making games. The Marines took part in the event with the CIAA to help spread awareness and inform the students of the opportunities the Marine Corps can provide while also giving them a taste of Marine Corps drill instructors.
