GENTEXT/REMARKS/1. The purpose of this MARADMIN is to announce and provide administrative instructions for the 2019 Equal Opportunity Advisors Training Summit.  The Training Summit will be held from 26-28 March 2019 on MCB Quantico, VA at the Clubs of Quantico in support of the continuing education for practicing EOAs.
2. The mission of the EOA is to inform, assist, and advise on all Command Climate, and Prohibited Activities and Conduct (PAC) matters to Commanding Generals, Commanders, Supervisors and Managers concerning equal opportunity and readiness issues. 
3. Attendance at the EOA Training Summit is critical to receive updated training, professional development, understand future program plans, improve and refine specific reporting knowledge and techniques, comprehend legal requirements, establish strong relationships and address concerns unique to specific commands.
3.a. The following periods of instruction will be given at the summit; Marine Corps Order (MCO) 5354.1E Policy Review (to include a review of Informal Resolution), Conducting Complaint Analysis, Retaliation and Reprisal, Understanding the Investigation and Appeals Process, Discrimination and Sexual Harassment (DASH) System and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
4. All actively serving EOAs are highly encouraged to attend and must provide justification if they are not going to be in attendance. Command Equal Opportunity Managers (CEOM) and Equal Opportunity Representatives (EOR) are welcome to attend with the approval of their EOA, as seating is limited. The EOA will additionally have to notify HQMC if any EOR is going to be in attendance.
5. Attending individuals are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
6. All TAD (M&IE, Lodging, and Transportation) and travel costs must be approved and funded by the parent command/organization.  There is no fee to attend.  HQMC will not provide funding.

8. Uniform for the summit is woodland MARPAT combat utility uniform.
