GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  The Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration Capabilities Development Directorate (CDD) and the Air Land Sea Application (ALSA) Center have published the revised MCTP 10-10B, Air and Missile Defense, dated 1 March 2019.  This publication was previously titled Integrated Air Defense System (IADS) and numbered MCRP 3-25E.  MCTP 10-10B may be downloaded via the USMC doctrine website https:(slash)(slash)homeport.usmc.mil/sites/mcdoctrine/SitePages/Home.aspx.  The publication can also be found on the ALSA website at http:  (slash)(slash)www.alsa.mil.  The classified appendices for this pub can be found at https:(slash)(slash)intelshare.intelink.sgov.gov/sites/alsa.
2.  Background.  This publication (Air and Missile Defense) provides multi-Service tactics, techniques, and procedures (MTTP) for planning and executing air and missile defense operations.  Additionally, it provides the warfighter and planner a single-source reference for Service-specific air defense capabilities and limitations.  It includes considerations for planning, coordinating, integrating, and employing air and missile defense systems for the Joint force commander (JFC) and those subordinate commanders participating in, and providing assets to, theater operations.  This publication also includes considerations for ballistic missile defense and counter-unmanned aircraft system missions.  It is consistent with Joint doctrine and is useful to all commanders, planning staffs, and support agencies.
3.  Coordinating instructions.  Reference (a) details steps required to request publication hard copies.  However, this publication will be disseminated via electronic distribution only unless commanders submit compelling needs justification for printed copies.  Units requiring print allocations must follow procedures identified in reference (a), paragraph 4a(2).  For Marine Corps Publication Distribution System (MCPDS) identification purposes, the publication control number is 147 000059 00.
4.  This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force.
