GENTEX/REMARKS/1. Per REF A, The Marine Corps Security Cooperation Group (MCSCG) hosted the SC Marine Corps Task List (MCTL) Working Group on behalf of the Service Advocate.  This message highlights the Working Group conclusions, modifies SC Marine Corps Task (MCT) format to align with Joint Doctrine and follow on actions required to implement the approved MCTL updates.
1.A. The following SC MCT updates do not change current manning, training, and equipping readiness standards and resources required for units to train to proposed MCTs.
1.B. Updated MCTs clarify the roles and responsibilities for the SC workforce, command elements and deployed forces assigned SC missions.

2.B.1. Once the new SC tasks are posted to the MCTL, prevent further assignment of obsolete tasks in the Defense Readiness Reporting System.
2.B.2. Ensure units select the new SC tasks when establishing future mission essential task lists.
2.B.3. Track usage of current MCTs and ensure obsolete tasks are scheduled to be archived once using units return from deployment.
2.C. CG TECOM. Publish guidance for T&R conferences to synchronize new SC MCTs across the family of T&R manuals in order to prevent duplication of tasks and to preserve SC capability generation.
