Winter Krimmer (left) and Greg Tauti (right), students from the Marine Week Leadership Academy, discuss their academy experience with I Marine Expeditionary Force Commanding General, Lieutenant General David H. Berger at Seattle's Seafair and Marine Week 2014, August 2. The two boys joined several boys and girls (ages 10-17) from the Seattle area beginning 29 July to be physically and mentally challenged and learn leadership traits and principles by United States Marines with Marine Corps Recruiting Command and supporting units. Marine Week Seattle showcases Marine Corps equipment, aircraft and technological capabilities to the general public. More than 700 Marines are participating in Marine Week Seattle to give Seattleites the opportunity to meet the individual Marine and celebrate community, country and Corps.
