U.S. Marines with Sierra Battery, 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, patrol while conducting 'Reconnaissance and Selection of Position' training during the Fuji High Mobility Artillery Rocket System Exercise at the Combat Arms Training Center on Camp Fuji, Japan, on Jan. 10-12, 2019. RSOP training allows Marines to select the most effective firing position in order to complete missions successfully. Training at CATC Fuji offers S Battery the ability to develop their warfighting proficiency in a cold weather environment.
