U.S. Marine M1A1 Abrams tank offloads from a U.S. Navy Landing Craft Air Cushion ship for exercise Ssang Yong 2014 in Dogue, Republic of Korea April 3. Ssang Yong, meaning twin dragons, is intended to strengthen ROK-U.S. combat readiness and combined interoperability and advance the ROK Marine Corps Marine Task Force and command and control capabilities through the conduct of combined amphibious operations.
