PH, US, Japan conclude KAMANDAG 3 with closing ceremony
Oct. 18, 2019 | 23:08
Senior military leadership from the United States, Philippines and Japan give their remarks during the closing ceremony for exercise KAMANDAG 3 at Marine Barracks Rudiardo Brown, Philippines, Oct. 18, 2019. Exercises such as KAMANDAG increase our ability to work together in response to crisis across the military spectrum in order to accomplish the mission, support the local population, and help alleviate human suffering. KAMANDAG is an acronym for the Filipino phrase “Kaagapay Ng Mga Manirigma Ng Dagat,” which translates to “Cooperation of the Warriors of the Sea,” highlighting the partnership between the U.S. and Philippine militaries.
