~ March 22 Hagi Tsubaki (Camellia) Festival
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Kasayama Tsubaki Gunseirin, Hagi City, Yamaguchi Pref. 25,000 camellia trees (approx. 60 kinds) are bloomed at Kasayama Tsubaki Gunseirin. At Saturdays and Sundays during the festival term, the free guide, lottery, and the game will be held. Free of admission. The Moomin’s World Exhibition
9 a.m. 5 p.m. at Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum, Hiroshima City. Monday is closed, and open until 7 p.m. on Saturday.  
Moomin’s stories and their characters created by Tove Jansson, the most famous artist of Finland, have been loved worldwide for years and thus published in over thirty countries. From among the collection of Tampere Art Museum Moominvalley, about 200 pieces of original works connected with all nine Moomin’s stories, including paintings and sketches, and specific models known as a secret treasure (on display for the first time in Japan), are exhibited.
Admission is 1000 yen for adult, 1800 yen for pair ticket, 600 yen for students of university, high school, junuior high school.

~ April 4 Hina Doll Exhibition - the Mouri Family's collection
9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (from April 1, open till 5 p.m.) at Mouri Museum, Hofu City, Yamaguchi Pref.
The hina dolls of the Mouri Family are consisting of more than 30 dolls with court nobles' clothes. They are made in the late of Edo Era and gorgeous. The real wedding costume and furniture of Princess Yuki-Hime, the bride from the Arisugawa Family to the Mouri Family, will be displayed.
Admission for adult is 700 yen (the museum) and 400 yen (the garden), and for students of junior high school and elementary school is 350 yen (the museum) and 200 yen (the garden).

Momomi Tea Ceremony
10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Shukkeien Garden, Hiroshima City.

The 28th Regular Concert by Iwakuni Wind Ensemble

March 16 Meiji Univeersity Mandolin Club Concert

March 20 Hagi Sake Festival
5 – 7:30 p.m., at Senshunnraku “Mirakutei, Hagi City. 
Hagi City is famous for its local brewed sake, and you can enjoy their new brew sake in spring. 5 – 5:45 p.m. tasting sake of 12 brewers at Hagi, 6 – 7:30 p.m. enjoy sake and side dishes, used local fresh food.
Admission is 5,000 yen for male adult, 4,000 yen for female adult (limited to 120 people).

This festival is  to commemorate Taira no Kiyomori, who built Itsukushima Shrine and the base of prosperity at Miyajima. The main of the festival is pilgrimage procession with people wear costume of  mountain worshippers, warriors, scions of nobility. In addition to that, court dance and music and brass band parade.

March 25 – April 3 Miyajima Hina Doll Festival Exhibition
From 10:30 a.m. at various areas at Miyajima. The old Hina Dolls handed down at Miyajima will be displayed at various places at Miyajima. There are 4 main places with purple flags, such as Miyajima History Museum. To enter these places, you need to purchase the exhibition passport (300 yen). April 6 Yundi Li Piano Recital
