Norwegian, British, and U.S. forces will deploy to the strategic island of Jan Mayen to conduct Operation Atlantic City from August 26 to September 4, 2026. The operation is part of Arctic Sentry, NATO’s enhanced vigilance activity for the High North, and will strengthen the Alliance's ability to operate jointly in challenging Arctic conditions.
