About 1,800 Marines participated in Marine Expeditionary Force Exercise 2015, a five-day exercise testing the ability to deploy approximately 50,000 Marines with the First Marine Expeditionary Force. Marine Tactical Air Command Squadron 38, aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, orchestrates an array of essential tasks for the battlefield.

Culminating video of Urban Advanced Naval Technology Exercise 2018 (ANTX18). Marines with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines, participated in this exercise at Camp Pendleton, Calif., from March 19-23, 2018. The Marines tested next generation technologies to provide the opportunity to assess the operational utility of emerging technologies and engineering innovations that improve the Marine’s survivability, lethality and connectivity in complex urban environments. The Combat Center hosted Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory for Marine Air Ground Task Force Integrated Experiment 2016, July 22 through Aug. 5, as part of Rim of the Pacific Exercise 2016. The experiment, held July 26 through Aug. 5, tested Company K, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, Company Landing Team’s ability to operate in an enemy controlled area with limited resources and capabilities while utilizing future tactics, techniques and procedures. The end goal was to explore the extent to which smaller units will require various assets to remain mission effective.
