U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, participate in Talon Exercise (TalonEx) 2018 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif., and Yuma Proving Grounds, Yuma, Ariz. TalonEx is a pre-deployment exercise in conjunction with the Weapons and Tactics Instructors Course that gives Marine ground combat elements the opportunity to work directly with air combat elements in real world scenarios.
