U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancers participate in Exercise Valiant Shield at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. The aircraft and U.S. Airmen are part of the 34th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron, Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota. The aircraft are operating in the U.S. Pacific Command area of responsibility for the first time in a decade after serving a critical role in U.S. Central Command in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.

U.S. Marines with Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, and joint branch forces participate in Exercise Valiant Shield June 7th-22nd, 2024. This exercise gave the Indo-Pacific Command Joint Forces the opportunity to integrate across branches of service and with our allies to conduct precise, lethal, and overwhelming multi-axis, multi-domain effects that demonstrate the strength and versatility of the Joint Force and our commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific.
