Local educators and community members of Yuma, Ariz., were invited to take a look at what occurs inside Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron (MAWTS) One and experience what Marines attending and supporting Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) Course 1-18 go through Oct. 13, 2017. WTI is a course hosted twice a year by MAWTS-1 that provides standardized advanced tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications, providing assistance in the development and employment of aviation weapons and tactics.
