Cobra Gold 2025 Final Video

Cobra Gold 2025 showcased Marine Rotational Force-Southeast Asia's extensive capabilities in tactical and operational planning, command and control, and versatility as a strategic I Marine Expeditionary Force within Southeast Asia. Cobra Gold is the largest joint and combined exercise in mainland Asia, held annually in Thailand, showcasing the U.S. commitment to the region by building interoperability, multilateral cooperative arrangements, and advancing common interests through our commitment to allies and partners in ensuring a free and open Indo-Pacific. MRF-SEA is a rotational unit derived from elements of I MEF executing a U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific operational model that involves training events and exchanges with partner military subject matter experts, promotes security goals with allied and partner nations, and ensures a persistent I MEF stand-in presence west of the international date line. Cobra Gold 23: Bilateral Explosive Ordnance Reduction Event Reel

Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technicians with the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Army, and Royal Thai Armed Forces, with the Thailand Mine Action Center (TMAC), detonate unexploded ordnance for a large scale disposal during a bilateral explosive ordnance reduction event at Ta Mor Roi Training area in Surin Province, Kingdom of Thailand, Mar. 3, 2023. Royal Thai and U.S. Armed Forces worked together during the training event to conduct explosive ordnance disposal operations, render-safe technique training, and advanced technical skills exchange. Cobra Gold, now in its 42nd year, is a Thai-U.S. co-sponsored training event that builds on the long-standing friendship between the two allied nations and brings together a robust multinational force to promote regional peace and security in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
