Third Battalion, Third Marine Regiment based at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay, conducted a company sized attack exercise aboard Arizona's Yuma Proving Grounds, October 10, 2014. The exercise highlights the Marine Corps' roots in conventional warfare after of a decade of counter-insurgency operations, allowing infantry Marines to be practiced in all styles of warfare. Yuma's adverse terrain provided challenges for the Marines as they moved in on their objectives.
