Marines competed in 3rd Marine Division's annual squad competition among rifle squads and crew-served weapons units on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. The competition was held from Nov. 28 - Dec. 2, 2016, in order to evaluate standards-based infantry training and recognize proficiency in infantry and crew-served weapons skills. 12 different squads representing the major subordinate elements within 3rd Marine Division competed, as well as guests from 2nd Marine Division.
