U.S. Army soldiers with Bravo Battery, 1st Battalion, 1st Air Defense Artillery Regiment (1/1 ADA), 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, conduct a Gunnery Table VII evaluation on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 23, 2021. U.S. Marines with Black Sea Rotational Force 16.2 participate in a field training exercise, the culminating event for Exercise Iron Sword 16, at the Rukla Training Area, Lithuania, Nov. 19- Dec. 2, 2016. Iron Sword is an annual, multinational training exercise designed to enhance interoperability between NATO allies and strengthen relationships. Marines with 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, conducted a field training operation at National Training Center Fort Irwin, July 24 – August 10. Training conducted included vehicle gunnery and individual combat marksmanship training, a strategic mobility exercise, and company and battalion level field exercises.
