Marines from 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion put their military skills to the test during a multiple-event competition at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, August 8-10. The Isaak Competition, in honor of Cpl. Garreth Isaak, distinguishes the most proficient scout within the Battalion through a series of events including an endurance course, land navigation, and weapons proficiency. Marine with 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion conducted the Isaak Competition in order to find the 'Top Scout' April 4-8, 2016, at Camp Lejeune, N.C. The Isaak Competition is a series of events each scout competes in, the one with the highest overall score is titled 'Top Scout'
