Matthew Sisneros, an instructor pilot with Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron (VMFAT) 501, discusses VMFAT-501's deployment to Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, March 23, 2022. VMFAT-501 deployed to Mountain Home Air Force Base to train entry-level pilots to be proficient at close-air support and high-explosive ordnance drops in preparation for their future-fleet F-35B units and aviation operations abroad.
