Mother's Day is a holiday that is celebrated by honoring mothers around the United States. Anna Jarvis, the "mother" of Mother's Day, first celebrated the holiday in 1908 when she held a memorial for her mother at St. Andrew's Methodist Church in Grafton, West Virginia. Gold Team of the Golden Knights demonstrate their jump capabilities at the air show, Power in the Pines, on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, May 4th to May 6th. The "Power in the Pines" air show displays multiple branches aviation units, aviation history and how aviation units operate. This allows the public and other military branches to see how the United States Military operates, performs, and how far aviation ingenuity has come.
