U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Samantha Camino, a native of Phoenix, graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Training as the honor graduate of Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, Nov. 21, 2023, at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Calif. Camino was recruited by Sgt. Devin Wyman out of Marine Recruit Sub Station Tempe, Ariz.Graduation took place after the completion of the 13-week transformation, which included training for drill, marksmanship, basic combat skills, and Marine Corps customs and traditions.
