The San Diego Chargers hosted the 26th Annual Salute to the Military during their preseason opener against the Dallas Cowboys at Qualcomm Stadium Aug. 7. Marines with the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing lined the tunnel for the players to come out, unfurled the American Flag for the national anthem and held the 50 state flags. The Chargers also honored wounded warriors at halftime.

Hear from Marine Corps recruiters and esports broadcasters who participated in "Reload Drops In With the Marine Corps," a two-day Call of Duty: Warzone gaming tournament hosted online by Esports Stadium Arlington in partnership with the U.S. Marine Corps. More than 500 gamers registered as teams of three to compete during open qualifiers on June 26 for the chance to be reinforced by active-duty Marines to compete on June 27 as a team of four.

Esports Stadium Arlington, in partnership with the US Marine Corps, presents "Reload Drops In With the Marine Corps," a two-day Call of Duty: Warzone tournament. The 26-27 June tournament will be hosted virtually and offers participants the opportunity compete as "trios" or teams of threes. Teams who make it to the finals on 27 June will receive an active-duty Marine player, forming a "quad" for the final day's game play.

Promotional video highlighting "Reload Drops In With the U.S. Marine Corps" - an online, free-to-play gaming tournament hosted by Esports Stadium Arlington in partnership with the 8th Marine Corps District on June 26-27. Tournament participants will initially compete as a team of three during open qualifiers on June 26 for the opportunity to be reinforced by an active duty Marine during the final live-stream matches on June 27.

Recruiters with the 8th Marine Corps District attended their first online virtual career fair hosted by Gamerjibe on May 20, 2020. Also attending the fair were Marines with Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command and Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity. The online event, which was free and open to the public, helped Marine recruiters educate and inform potential candidates in attendance while simultaneously engaging with other entrepreneurs and tech businesses in attendance, all while from the safety of home. Attendees could voice, video and text chat with Marines while exploring the virtual booth for more information on technical career opportunities with the Marine Corps.
