The Ground-Based Anti-Ship Missile (GBASM) capability is a top modernization effort for the Marine Corps. The current solution for this capability is the Navy/Marine Corps Expeditionary Ship Interdiction System (NMESIS). NMESIS is the ground-based launcher that fires the Navy's latest anti-ship missile.
