U.S. Marines and Sailors in support of Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 2018 enhanced their overall readiness over the last six months being stationed in Australia. MRF-D is a task force that includes an Aviation Combat Element, Logistics Combat Element, Ground Combat Element and a Command Element that enables U.S. Marines, Sailors and the Australian Defence Force to effectively train and operate together while providing regional security in the Indo-Pacific region.
