Cpl. Jonathan Becker walks us through the eyes of an RQ-21A Blackjack as it soars through the frigid air during a training flight conducted by Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 2, Marine Aircraft Group 14, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Jan. 9, 2016. The RQ-21A is currently the only unmanned aerial system used by VMU-2, and one of many UAS’s employed by the Marine Corps. As the Marine Corps continues to develop new technology, the RQ-21A is the latest UAS innovation. The system is an essential piece to the reconnaissance mission of the air combat element in support of the Marines on the ground. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl. Mackenzie Gibson/ Released)
