Marines and other service members participated in the 2019 Interservice Rifle Marksmanship competition at Weapons Training Battalion aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico June 24 - 30. The Marine Corps Rifle Team preformed well this year with two shooters setting new inter-service records. Sgt. Justin Crago set a new record for the Kistler trophy, shooting a 796-38x and Staff Sgt. Daniel Rhodes set a new record for the Marine Corps match with a 200-15x. Other accolades include Staff Sgt. Stephen Ferguson winning the 600-yard match with a score of 200-12x and Sgt. Justin Crago placing third with 199-9x. Sgt. Shane Butler placing 3rd in the Marine Corps match with a 200-11x. Cpl Wynn took third during the Excellence in Competition match with a score of 488-13x. During the 10-Man team match, the Marine Corps Rifle Team took second place with a score of 4898-174x out of a possible 5000.

Teams of service members particpated in the 55th annual Inter-service Rifle Competition, hosted by Weapons Training Battalion, at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, June 22-29, 2016.

The Marine Forces Reserve shooting team participated in the Civilian Marksmanship Program's Rifle Nationals at Camp Perry, Ohio this year in 2013. Their focus was the National Trophy Rifle Team Match, they placed fourth out of 54 teams.
