Nightmare 96 is an educational one and a half minute safety brief for the upcoming holiday break. Highlighting safe driving practices, time management, drinking responsibly and weapons safety. Lance Cpl. Jane Schmuckatelli, played by Cpl. Tessa Watts a combat correspondent, is driving drunk during the last few hours of a long weekend break, trying to make it back to her base before morning accountability. She runs out of gas and is stranded on the side of a deserted road, as her corporal texts her wondering about her welfare, she becomes overwhelmed by the consequences of her actions. Suddenly, Schmuckatelli wakes up in her own room on the first day of the extended weekend.
