U.S. Marines and Sailors with 2d Combat Engineers Battalion (CEB) gather to honor the lives of the twenty-nine 2d CEB Marines who gave their lives during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom with the Sapper 50 Memorial Run on April 5, 2018 at Camp Lejeune, N.C. The Marines are remembered each year with a 50 mile run in which twenty-nine Marines each carry a dog tag bearing the name of one of their fallen brothers. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl.
