Marines assigned to Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 2 participated in their annual Combat Fitness Test at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Sept. 20, 2017. A CFT monitor’s responsibility is to set up the course accurate to regulations and ensure the integrity of the performances throughout the evaluation. The purpose of the CFT is to evaluate a Marines’ strength, stamina, agility and coordination during three simulated combat events. MWHS-2 is assigned to 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.
