U.S. Marines Brig. Gen. Phillip N. Frietze, the commander of U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South, and Sgt. Maj. Edwin Mota, the sergeant major of U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South, addresses the Marines and Sailors of the participating countries during exercise UNITAX LXI Nov. 9, 2020. The U.S. and partner nation training consists of virtual exercises and subject matter expert exchanges, which led up to the multinational maritime exercise UNITAS LXI hosted by Ecuador. Brig. Gen.
