BALTIC SEA (June 4-12, 2018) – U.S. Marines and Sailors assigned to Fox Company, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and the Harpers Ferry-class dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51), participated in the multilateral exercise Baltic Operations (BALTOPS) 2018 in the Baltic Sea region, June 4-12. BALTOPS is the premier annual maritime-focused exercise in the Baltic region and one of the largest exercises in Northern Europe enhancing flexibility and interoperability among allied and partner nations. The dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) conducted flight operations aboard the ship in support of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and its deployed operations off the coast of North Carolina in the Atlantic Ocean, Feb. 14, 2018.
