U.S. Marine Corps Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463 (HMH-463), Marine Aircraft Group 24, conduct an external lift of a SH-60B Seahawk helicopter with a CH-53E Super Stallion at Marine Corps Training Area Bellows, Hawaii, March 29, 2018. HMH-463 used their heavy lift capabilities to facilitate joint support for the U.S. Army’s 209th Aviation Support Battalion training event by relocating their aircraft to Wheeler Army Airfield. 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing squadrons along with joint forces participated in exercise Agile Lightning aboard Marine Corps bases in the San Diego area, Jan. 30 - Feb. 3. Agile Lightning showcased the F-35B Lightning II's ability to conduct short takeoff/vertical landing operations and complete training prerequisites in a robust and complex training environment.
