U.S. Marines with Recruiting Station Seattle held a Force Fitness physical training event at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA, May 23, 2024. The girls' basketball, soccer, and volleyball teams at the university participated in the event. Shane Lemieux, an offensive tackle for the West Valley High School Rams varsity football team and 17-year-old native of Yakima, Wash., was recently selected for the 2015 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl and received his jersey from Seattle and Yakima-based Marines at West Valley High School in Yakima, Wash., Oct. 31, 2014. Lemieux is among approximately 100 student athletes from across the nation selected to participate in the game at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., Jan. 4, 2015.
