Navy Lieutenant Nii Adjel Oninku, a Dayton, Ohio native, stages blood units from Okinawa, Japan at local host nation support hospitals for Exercise Cobra Gold 2018. The blood is stored for U.S. service members in the event they are injured during the exercise. After the exercise the remaining donated blood will be given to the local hospitals to use at their discretion. Cobra Gold 2018 is an annual exercise conducted in the Kingdom of Thailand held from Feb. 13-21 with seven full participating nations. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Sgt. Devin Phommachanh)
