Marines visit more than 35 high schools in Arizona during Marine Week Phoenix. Marines brought static displays, martial arts demonstrations and the Marine Corps Soccer Team to various high schools and gave leadership and education talks.

University of Mary Washington hosted an Our Community Salutes event June 20, 2015. Our Community Salutes is an organization which honors high school students for their decision to join the United States military.

The first Thursday each month San Onofre Elementary school assembles with the staff, students and parents to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and to sing patriotic songs like the National Anthem, Marines' Hymn, Anchors Away and You're a Grand Old Flag. This month veterans were also invited to attend the ceremony in honor of Veterans Day

Capt. Steven Valenti, operations officer for Recruiting Station Pittsburgh presents Jordan Whitehead, a native of Aliquippa, Pa., with a jersey to congratulate him for being invited to the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl during a school pep rally, Oct 4. The Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl is a football game hosted by the United States Marine Corps that brings together the top high school senior athletes for a week of leadership seminars, team building exercises and of course physical training.

Marine Corps partners with MAES for the 2014 MAES Leadership Academy at the University of Texas at El Paso, El Paso, Texas Feb. 5 through Feb. 8, 2014.
