Educators from the 4th Marine Corps District traveled to Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina, to experience the Educators Workshop. WASHINGTON -- Educators participate in the Marine Corps Recruiting Command's 2018 Educators and Key Leaders Workshop aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, June 19 to 21. The workshop established mutually beneficial relationships between Marine officer selection officers and educators. Community leaders and educators from around the country traveled to Quantico in efforts to develop their leadership skills and learn about career opportunities in the Marine Corps. Service members graduate from the Military Service Technician Education Program at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, June 15, 2018. The nine graduates learned technical automotive skills and knowledge about workshop safety, engines, suspension systems, and electrical systems during the 16-week training iteration. Recruiting stations Twin Cities and Des Moines brought nearly 60 educators to Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, and Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton to experience Marine Corps boot camp during the Educator Workshop.
