The 31st MEU is currently deployed in the Asia-Pacific region in support of theater security operations. U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Company 21 and U.S. Airmen assigned to 16th Airlift Squadron train together during a joint-service aerial embarkation event at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Oct. 26, 2021.
