Join us in congratulating the Sailors with Special Purpose MAGTF - Crisis Response - Central Command who earned their Fleet Marine Force Device while forward deployed in the Middle East. Marines and Sailors constantly strive to integrate their unique strengths - leading to an unrivaled naval amphibious force. The FMF Device is earned, not given, to Sailors serving with Marine Corps units and demonstrates their commitment to the Navy/Marine Corps team.

Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 471, Marine Aircraft Group 41, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, brings the ground fight to Volk Field Air National Guard Base, Wis., for this year's Joint Exercise Northern Lightning in August 2021. Health Services Support employed COVID-19 mitigation measures and ensured the physical well-being of Squadron participants. Volk Field Combat Readiness Training Center annually hosts Northern Lighting; an exercise focused on the Joint integration of 4th and 5th generation aircraft.
