During the month of August the Combat Center hosted the Large Scale Exercise-17, utilizing the newly acquired Temporary Special Use Area to effectively train the Aviation Combat Element and Ground Combat Element. LSE-17 is a multinational exercise, led by 2nd Marine Division, with elements from the United Kingdom, France, Canada and II Marine Expeditionary Force, focused on integrating all capabilities of the Marine Air Ground Task Force and coalition forces.

U.S. Marines with Marine Air-Ground Task Force 8 (MAGTF-8) participate in Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 5-17 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif., from July 11 to Aug. 18, 2017.
