III Marine Expeditionary Force Command Master Chief Petty Officer Michael J. Fasano retired Feb. 9, 2018, after nearly 32 years of honorable service to the U.S. Navy. Fasano, a native of Mobile, Alabama, looks forward to spending more time with his loved ones.

Sgt. Maj. Lee D. Bonar Jr. and Navy Master Chief Petty Officer Michael J. Fasano address Marines and Sailors on Okinawa about the "100 days of Summer." The 100 days of Summer is a period in Okinawa when most heat-related mishaps occur. Bonar is the III Marine Expeditionary Force sergeant major and Fasano is the command master chief for III MEF.
