U.S. Marines assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force- Crisis Response- Africa's aviation combat element work alongside the ground combat element to conduct a tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel mission during a mission readiness exercise at Naval Station Rota, Spain, Feb. 6, 2016. By combining the individual capabilities within the unit, the SPMAGTF remains consistent in providing a quick response capability to potential crises within the African area of responsibility.
