Firefighters and emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) respond to all sorts of life-threatening and precarious situations, from fighting fires in suburbia to water rescues on the Neuse river, they answer the call to whomever may be in need. Cherry Point Fire and emergency Services (CPF&ES) are here to provide aid to Marines, Sailors and civilian residents of Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point from whatever mishaps arise, night or day. But everyone needs some downtime. Getting the chance to step away from the fight and prepare themselves to save more lives is crucial in their work. U.S. Marines and family members kick off the Tails and Trails 4k walk, at Lake O’Neill aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif, Jan. 27, 2018.This is Camp Pendleton’s 3rd year hosting the dog walk, intended to promote fitness, healthy lifestyles and pet responsibility.
