Marines with 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment conducted Small Unmanned Aircraft System (SUAS) training on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California Sept. 19, 2018. This training certified the Marines to be SUAS opertators. This increases situational awareness and enhances the Marines' ability to plan and adapt to the mission.
