U.S. Marines with Kilo Company, Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), conduct a boat raid with Combat Rubber Raiding Crafts at Kin Blue, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 7, 2020. The Marines of Kilo Company conducted small boat raids in preparation for follow-on exercises. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region. Marines from units across II Marine Expeditionary Force and the Marine Raider Regiment conducted a coxswain course at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, March 7-8, 2018. Units that took part in the training included the Expeditionary Operations Training Group, 8th Engineer Support Battalion, and 2nd Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company.

U.S. Marines instruct on fundamentals of Combat Rubber Raiding Craft (CRRC) to Royal Cambodian Navy Sailors at Ream Naval Base, Sihanoukville, Cambodia, Nov. 1. Training between U.S. and Cambodian service members took place during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 16. CARAT 2016 is a nine-country, bilateral exercise series between the United States and Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, and Timor-Leste.
