Marines with Marine Barracks Washington laid repatriated World War II Marine Pfc. Harry Morrissey to rest at Arlington National Cemetery, Sep. 22nd, 2020. Morrissey, an Everett, Massachusetts native, was killed in action while participating in the main offensive of the Battle of Guadalcanal on October 9, 1942, while serving with Company B, 1st Battalion, 1st Marines, 1st Marine Division. A repatriation ceremony is arranged for the remains of retired U.S. Marine, Lt. Col. Paul C. Hudson, at Dulles International Airport, Washington D.C., Feb. 5, 2020. Hudson was one of the three identified United States firefighters that died while battling wildfires in Australia in a KC-130 Hercules aerial water tanker when it crashed in the state of New South Wales. Marines with Marine Barracks Washington, D.C. pay a final tribute to repatriated WWII Marine Pvt. Ted Hall at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, Oct. 18, 2019. Hall was killed in action on December 7, 1941 while aboard the USS Oklahoma in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
