U.S. Marines with the Ground Combat Element, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, integrate with the Australian Army to conduct close air support training at Delamere, Northern Territory, Australia, Aug. 14, 2020. Joint terminal attack controllers and forward air controllers from both countries shared tactics and techniques to become more capable as a combined force. CAS provides aviation fire in support of friendly forces who may be in close proximity to an opposing force.
