U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, participate in service-level training events to include Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 1-20, and Marine Air Ground Task Force Warfighting Exercise (MWX) 1-20, at Marine Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif., from Sept. to Nov. 2019. The purpose of ITX is to create a challenging, realistic training environment that produces combat-ready forces capable of operating as an integrated Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) and to prepare units to participate in MWX.
