U.S. Marines instruct on fundamentals of Combat Rubber Raiding Craft (CRRC) to Royal Cambodian Navy Sailors at Ream Naval Base, Sihanoukville, Cambodia, Nov. 1. Training between U.S. and Cambodian service members took place during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 16. CARAT 2016 is a nine-country, bilateral exercise series between the United States and Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, and Timor-Leste. MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – The Marine Corps Expeditionary Energy Office brought together industry representatives and Navy medical personnel during the annual Expeditionary Energy Concepts symposium hosted this year at Camp Pendleton May 3-5, 2016. During the event, industry representatives received direct feedback on developing technologies from Marines and sailors. Cpl. Jesse Meinhardt, squad leader, Company K, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, shares his thoughts on the importance of holding the billet of squad leader.
